Tata’s Nano Carbon Emission Disaster

tata.jpg
Right concept, wrong outcome? Did they miss the global climate conferences. Where they just too busy building their new car to notice the rest of the world? Although Tata have managed to pull off a major global PR feeding frenzy, the launch of the People’s Car by Tata Motors is a defining moment in the history of India’s automotive industry. For Tata Motors, the car — christened the Nano, is produced as a carbon emission disaster. If only they had been keeping an eye on the current plight of every major country in the world to cut emissions.
Let’s hope that other car manufacturers will reply with a green machine soon to remedy the market’s appetite.
